15 Minute HIIT Fat Blast

If you are like most people, you are very busy. So busy in fact, that there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to get everything done, and with that being said, one of the things that you sacrifice when in a time crunch is your workout.

Well hopefully we can change that with this 15 minute fat burning circuit. Now you may be thinking "how is 15 minutes enough?", but with HIIT training your body is constantly being put through high intensity work, followed by a very brief rest period which makes your body work harder and therefore burns more calories than if you were to do a typical workout session at the gym for 30-60 minutes. And let's face it, 15 minutes is really nothing; people will waste 15 minutes on Facebook or browsing the web while waiting for dinner to finish, so why not replace that couch potato activity with high intensity physical activity?!

So what you will be doing here is 1 minute of exercise, followed by no more than 30 seconds of rest (I suggest 10 seconds of rest for best results). For example: 1 minute of fast jumping jacks, 30 seconds of rest, 1 minute of burpees, 30 seconds of rest, etc.

You will go through the entire list at least once; or if you would like to kick it up a notch and feel like you want more, repeat 1-2 more times!

Intense Treadmill Workout {500 Calorie Blast}

Have you ever been to a gym during peak times when you aren't supposed to be on the cardio equipment for longer than 30 minutes? Or have just wanted to get your workout done quickly to go home or get your to-do list completed?

If this sounds familiar, then I have a great treadmill workout for you that takes minimal time, and will not only have you sweating, but will torch 500 calories.

This workout is 40 minutes long and will burn 500 calories if you follow it and do not quit; if you have to stick to a 30 minute limit though you will be doing 3 repetitions instead of 4.

It's simple; set your treadmill to the listed incline and speed for the specified amount of time.

Intense Tabata Workout

Lately I find that more and more people are discovering, and falling in love with, Tabata workouts (myself included).

The funny thing about these workouts is that when you read them over, a lot of the time you think "this sounds easy enough", but then once you try it you are dripping sweat with your heart racing and gasping for air. With that being said, here's a killer Tabata workout that will surely kick your butt:

This workout will kick your butt, and if it isn't hard for you then add some more weight, and if that's still not hard enough for you...well than you are a tank and unstoppable!

Choose Your Workout {HIIT Workouts}

If you follow this blog fairly regularly you will know by now that I love HIIT training (High Intensity Interval Training).

With that being said, here's yet another set of HIIT routines for you to try out.

The way this works is you pick 1 of the 4 routines and workout as directed. Each routine is different either in the exercises, the resistance added, or the amount of sets (referred to as rounds here) required. However, I can guaruntee you that each routine will challenge you and when combined with a healthy diet and dedication, will give you great results.

4 Minute Tabata Workout

If you've read my previous fitness posts you will know that I love workouts that incorporate High Intensity Interval Training (also known as HIIT training). This style of training burns the most amount of calories in a small amount of time,and keeps your body burning calories for up to 24 hours after your workout. Tabata training, is a class of HIIT training that works in the same way, but it can be very intense.

Here's a great 4 minute Tabata workout that seems simple, but can really kick your butt.

For more of a challenge, take a 1-2 minute break after completing this circuit then repeat.

2 Minute HIIT Workout

If you're like me, you have a weak spot for a physical challenge. And if that's the case, you will love HIIT workouts (also knows as High Intensity Interval Training).

HIIT can give you an amazing and challenging workout in minutes, and will burn the calories that you would have to spend 30 minutes or more in the gym to achieve the same results.

So here's a 7 minute HIIT workout that you are going to love:

I guarantee that if you follow this routine the way it states (30 seconds at your highest effort for each exercise, followed by 10 seconds of rest, and repeat entire routine 3 times) you will be dripping sweat, and with dedication you will see results.

Tabata Workout To Go

Lately there has been a lot of buzz around Tabata workouts. Why?
Simply because it is one of the most effectove ways to burn the maximum amount of calories, in a short amount of time. Not only that, but after you complete a Tabata workout you will continue to burn calories while your body is at a "rest state".

If you complete this workout you will have burned the amount of calories that someone else would have burned in at least double the time. And the great thing is, this workout only takes 12 minutes to go through once, or if you're really determined and want to torch even more fat & build more muscle, do this complete workout twice for a 24 minute workout.

HIIT Training {No Excuses Workout}

While surfing Pinterest this afternoon I came across this awesome, not to mention intense, HIIT workout.

For those of you who may not know what HIIT stands for, it's "High Intensity Interval Training", which is very popular in gyms and with fitness professionals across the world today.

I can personally say that although reading this workout may seem like there's nothing to it and it will be a breeze to go through, I can assure you it's tougher than it looks.

This workout takes such little time out of your day and will give you results if you do this 3-5 days a week.

Give it a try and see what you think. It only takes 4 minutes: on average that's the time we take to brush our teeth in the day (2 mins in the morning and 2 mins at night).  What's your excuse?
